Cranberry sauce is one of those dishes at Thanksgiving that can either be a hit or miss. Not a lot of people tend to reach for it or eat much of it. A big reason for that is usually we buy it in canned form and that definitely ruin the taste. However if you make this recipe I promise you there will be no hesitations and your friends and family will be begging for more!
What You Will Need: (Feeds 6-8 people)
1 LB of Fresh Cranberries
2 Cups of Water
1 Cup of Granulated Sugar (Please no cane, raw or brown sugar it will change the consistency)
1 Medium Size Orange
2 Tablespoons of Clover Honey (If you can't find clover honey try to find a floral flavored honey or agave syrup)
How To Make:
1.) In a large sauce pot on high heat put in your cranberries along with the water, sugar, the juice from one orange and the peel of the orange.
2.) Bring to a boil and turn the heat to medium-low
3.) Add your honey and stir
4.) Boil for 10-15 minutes
5.) Take out the orange peels and ENJOY
Garnish: If you have another orange on hand take a small peeler and make thin strips using the peel of the orange and put on top of the sauce right before serving along with a sprig of mint
