Fall '15 Favorites

I don't usually do these types of posts but I have been seriously using these things like crazy so I thought I share them with you guys! Hope you guys enjoy and happy fall!!!

Beauty Favorites

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation - Great medium coverage but light enough for everyday wear

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream - For those lazy days where I just need a little quick pickup

Khroma Beauty Lipgloss in Black Honey - Pretty dark plum color perfect for the fall and also smells like honey!

NYX Highlight and Contour Pro Palette - Has every bronzer and highlighter you will ever need. I am normally not a huge contour person but ever since this palette came out I have been obsessed. Not to mention a great dupe for the Anastasia Contour Palette which is around $40.

Tarte Matte LipSurgence in Envy - Dark pinky nude great for everyday fall wear. This has been my go to lip color. It pretty much goes with every look and outfit and works great on all skin tones.

Hask Macadamia Oil Hydrating Hair Treatment - I am currently in the process of lightening up my hair to prepare for a color (will reveal later on). Because of the chemicals used my hair has been pretty dry lately and this treatment has been a savior. It basically is a deep conditioner that is enriched with macadamia oil.

Misc Favorites

iPhone 6s Plus in Space Grey - I recently updated my phone a couple weeks ago from an iPhone 6 in Gold to this big boy. I gotta say I am very impressed. The changes in this phone makes quite a difference in how you use it now. Plus I really wanted a big phone.

Review: NYX The Go-To Palette in Wanderlust

NYX The Go To Palette

PACKAGING:

-Comes in a black plastic case

-Palette contains 6 eyeshadows, a highlighter, a blush, and a bronzer

-$16.99 each @ ULTA (Comes in 3 other color combinations)

FORMULATION:

The Wanderlust palette offers a nice variety of neutral shades that work with every eye color. The shadows are nicely pigmented and easy to blend. You can mix and match to create tons of different looks. I wasn't a big fan of the blush and highlighter. They were a bit too powdery for my taste although both had good pigmentation. The bronzer is good for a nice all over the face color but maybe a little too light for contouring unless you are very fair.

This is a great palette for traveling. It contains all your eyeshadows and face products in one. It is also super light and takes up no room in your bag. This is also a great alternative to the Urban Decay Naked on the Go Palette which is about $50.

NYX Butter Glosses

The NYX Butter Glosses came out awhile back but for some odd reason it has taken me this long to finally try them and no surprise I am addicted to them. These glosses are super moisturizing and aren't sticky and provide a decent amount of color not to mention they glide on like butter. They can be worn on its own or on top of other colors. Unlike other lip glosses on the market today, the gloss in this one is very settle and natural looking. They come in a variety of colors ranging from neutrals, pinks, reds and even purples! They have a decent wear time from 3-5 hours depending if you are eating or drinking throughout the day.

BONUS: They smell like cake and pastries

Here are a few of my favorite ones :)

From left to right:
Vanilla Creme Pie: Mid-tone pink
Merengue: Milky lavender pink
Peaches and Cream: Bright coral pink
Maple Blondie: Peachy pink

Where to purchase:
NYX cosmetics
ULTA
Target
CVS

They are about $4-5 each depending on where you purchase them

Review: NYX Matte Lipsticks

I have been on a lipstick buying spree these last couple of weeks. I have never been a lipstick junkie ever in my life until now. One of my current lipstick obsessions are the NYX Matte Lipsticks. These have been out for awhile now in stores I don't know how I didn't know about them till now.

PACKAGING: Comes in a long black sleek tube that has a clear part in the center where you can view the color. The tube is quite long compared to most lipstick tubes but doesn't add any weight. The part where the lipstick comes out is also clear.

FORMULATION: These lipsticks have a matte finish hence their name. These are some of the best matte lipsticks out there today drugstore and high-end wise. Most matte lipsticks are very drying and can make your lips look dry and cracked especially when worn for a long time. These however don't. They apply and feel so smooth on the lips and doesn't dry out throughout the day. They last for a long time too about 4-5 hours without eating and drinking. The pigmentation is very nice and potent. They come in 22 shades so there is something for everyone.

Here are some of my favorite colors and swatches of them.
