Clinique Acne Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel is a clear gel containing 1% salicylic acid. It is use for the treatment of acne either as a spot on treatment or all over the face under a good moisturizer. It is very comparable to most prescription acne clearing medication without the hefty price tag. I wasn't too keen on this product when I first saw it because most drugstore acne treatments usually contain about 2% salicylic acid and are lot cheaper however after one night of this I saw a huge improvement with my skin. Not only did my breakouts fade but it also took away any redness I had. I used this both as a spot on treatment and all over the face. You don't need much and always applying a thin layer (DO NOT LAYER THIS ON!!!). It is very important to follow up with a good moisturizer because this will dry your skin (acne is cause by oil glands so drying it up will stop it from growing etc...). It is very light so it can be worn throughout the day and under makeup.
You can purchase this product either on Clinique's online store or any store that sells Clinique products such as Sephora, Ulta, Macy's etc... It retails for $25.
